Vande Bharat goes global, expanding India's railway footprint

India's ambitions in the railway sector now extend well beyond its own borders. Having built one of the world's largest rail networks, the country is leveraging that experience to emerge as a global supplier of locomotives, coaches and railway technology. With the Vande Bharat Express being readied for export, India is aiming to compete in a market long dominated by European and East Asian manufacturers.
