For decades, China has dominated the global fireworks trade with scale, low costs and an unmatched export network. India has largely remained a domestic producer despite having one of the world's biggest manufacturing clusters. That equation is now beginning to change. The Centre has unveiled a broad strategy to help Indian manufacturers compete internationally through cleaner technology, improved infrastructure, stronger safety standards and dedicated export support.
