Guardian of shared history: India restores ancient temples across South East Asia

Across South East Asia stand magnificent Hindu and Buddhist temples that bear testimony to centuries of cultural exchange with India. Today, many of these monuments, from Cambodia's Ta Prohm or Vietnam's My Son sanctuary, are being carefully restored with the expertise of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). 

The impact of these efforts extends beyond archaeological conservation. They represent a conscious revival of a shared civilizational heritage, strengthening diplomatic ties, fostering people-to-people connections, and positioning India as a custodian of a cultural legacy that transcends modern political boundaries.
