Introductory Memo
In the age of Instagram classrooms, YouTube lectures, and AI-powered learning, the teaching profession in India is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. Teachers, who were once a figure of authority, have minimized their role today simply to a creator competing for attention. Digital platforms have undoubtedly expanded access to knowledge. But at the same time, they have also blurred the traditional boundaries between teacher and student. This shift raises deeper questions about the future of education: Are we creating more engaging classrooms or weakening the cultural foundations that once made teachers mentors, guides, and nation-builders?
