Archaeology+technology blend is rewriting India's civilisational history

History is often thought to be written in stone. Yet sometimes, it takes a laser scanner, an AI model or a satellite image to reveal what the stones have been saying all along. The recent scientific identification of the Gayatri idol in Dhar, which was identified as Saraswati idol earlier, has demonstrated how technology can reshape historical understanding with evidence rather than speculation.
